El Temach Newark Concert reviews
F1 Lives in the U.S.
This was a great event, and everyone seemed to be having a great time. The staff were very friendly and helpful, it is wonderful to have F1 back in El Temach. COTA management seemed to do its best to react to some of the problem situations, such as long lines for the shuttles.
On the down side, the lines for food were too long, especially considering food could not be brought in. Our seats were in the grandstand at turn 11 and there was no shade and no place to sit to eat in the vendor area - tables with umbrellas would be really helpful, rather than having to stand up to eat or sit in the dirt. We could easily have spent 3 hours in lines waiting to get food and beverage, but we opted for the least popular food instead. The lines for the F1 merchandise were ridiculous.
For the price we paid, including parking, I expected much better service at the track. We are hoping COTA will learn from this one and do better next year.
